Case Study | Clearview Pioneer
BEFORE & AFTER, THREE CLEARVIEW STOVES.
The brief for this project was to modernise the two existing open fireplaces and install three multi-fuel stoves. The Clearview Pioneer is a staple in many wood burning stove households and was chosen for this project, ask anyone who’s got one and they’ll tell you why!
BEFORE
Uncovering and breaking into the existing fireplace opening, revealing the old liner. We worked to open it up the chamber and fit a new Basalt hearth and slips with a limestone surround. The stoves chosen were Clearviews, a Pioneer 400, a Vision 500 and a Vision Inset.
AFTER
We love how the installation turned out, a classy stove taking pride of place in a classy room!
VISION INSET
We also transformed the original cast iron fire insert in the snug room to take fit the Clearview Vision Inset, a 5kw multi-fuel stove inset into the fireplace. We were careful to retain the original hood of the fireplace and incorporate that into the new design.

This Clearview was already in the house, we just gave it a tidy up and made sure it wasn’t feeling left out!
