‘Bruges’ is the stylish log store designed by the very talented Belgian designer, Jan Kuppers (Kuppers & Wuytens.) The shape is inspired by the typical Belgian façade construction and is made from Cor-Ten Steel, a special alloy which forms a rust layer that protects the deeper layer of steel against corrosion. As the steel is exposed to the elements, it begins to transform into a beautiful rusty colour, that only gets better with age and use.

The basic package consists of 11 metal plates that arrive flat packed. The parts are easy to assemble; the roof is put into shape with a few bolts, the houses themselves get the necessary stability by sliding them together with connecting pieces, for which simple slots are provided in the sheet material.

The natural beauty of stacked wood marries perfectly with the naturally rusted steel. The Bruges Log Store is not only functional and durable but an attractive, well-considered piece of outdoor furniture guaranteed to add the wow factor to any space lucky enough to house it.
