Inverness, Scotland's Highlands, is home to the small family-owned business Darach. Experts in their field, they take great delight in producing fine furniture out of reclaimed oak whisky barrels. Each of their products is painstakingly crafted by hand, fusing tradition with usability to provide thoughtfully crafted items that are useful, long-lasting, and aesthetically pleasing.

Each oak whisky barrel is repurposed and altered while being sensitively maintained and honouring the character of the wood. They are sourced from nearby Highland and Speyside distilleries. No two Darach pieces are alike since they uniquely reveal the scars, fractures, and other rustic characteristics of the original barrel, giving each and every creation a beautiful individuality.
