Each oak whisky barrel, which is obtained from nearby Highland and Speyside distilleries, is reused and altered while respectfully preserving and honouring the natural characteristics of the wood. Since no two Darach pieces are alike due to the original barrel's characteristics being revealed, each piece of furniture is utterly unique.

Inverness, the centre of the Scottish Highlands, is home to the family business Darach. They take great care in producing high-quality rustic furniture from old oak whisky barrels because they are masters of their trade. Each of their products is expertly produced by hand, fusing tradition with functionality to provide thoughtfully made items that are useful and appealing to the eye.
