Located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands in Inverness, Darach is a family-run business. Experts in their field, they take great delight in producing rustic fine furniture out of reclaimed oak whisky barrels. All of their pieces are expertly manufactured by hand, Thoughtfully crafted furniture that is useful, long-lasting, and  beautiful in design.

Each oak whisky barrel is repurposed and honouring the character of the wood. They are sourced from nearby Highland and Speyside distilleries. No two Darach pieces are alike since they uniquely reveal the scars, cracks, and other rustic characteristics of the original barrel, giving each and every item a distinct individuality.

Please note that whilst we hold items in stock, many are made to order, taking approximately 6-8 weeks to make.
