Under the compact right stainless steel lid is a two zone induction hob and under the left stainless steel lid are the cast iron hot and simmer plates.  The two zone induction hob gives you the option to cook over two separate zones or over both with a much larger pan. Induction is highly efficient, extremely controllable and incredibly fast and also provides an alternative solution to cooking in the summer months when you don’t want excess heat in kitchen.
